Inseop Song was born in 1984 in Suwon, South Korea.He started playing music from an early age on.Inseop was

classically trained by studying the piano. In his late teens he picked up the electric bass and became interested in

Pop and Rock. In April 2001 he won the first prize at the Soyo Rock Festival in Korea.

He continued his study on Jazz at Kyung-Hee University majoring post-modern music.It was after this that he decided

to pick up the double bass, and really pursue his dream to become a Jazz musician.Inseop started to study Jazz

double with Chan jong, Park the leading Jazz Bassist in Korea.in 2004 he eventually got acquainted with a bassist Frans

van der Hoeven, who inspired his enthusiasm for jazz.

In 2006 he joined the CDC(Capital Defence Command)Army Band in Seoul.He played Double bass,electric bass and

French Horn.After gaining much experience in all kinds of styles, he decided to

move to Netherland in 2008, to study Jazz double bass at the Jazz department of

the Amsterdam conservatory, where he studied with Ruud Ouwehand.

In March 2011 he won the First prize at the Keep an eye Jazz Award Competition.

many place such as Den hag, Tilburg, Rotterdam and some another country.

Now He is living and performing in South Korea.
